DECO your wardrobe

So here is the second part of my DECO: Special Report. Let me begin by saying I’ve always had a special place in my heart for DECO. Orchid Zenovka had one of her first shops on my old sim Polly Jean. Back then she was only a line of Jewelry and now, it warms my heart to see her branch out. I love her style. Her nods to vintage, survivalist, and grunge – all at the same time.

This Parka is totally excellent. The texture is flawlessly realistic. You can actually hear the sound of parka as it rezzes – okay, maybe you can’t. But it sure feels like you should be able to hear the sound of that nylon rubbing against itself! The Snow Boots totally match the Parka. It’s like dreamy perfect.

One thing you have to wrestle with, but I found the perfect solution for you. The hood. It doesn’t give much room for an innuendo of a hair. I ended up at BOON and bought this bangs hair piece for only $50L. It included EVERY color and was totally perfect with the coat. Really it was a perfect match.

My first SPECIAL REPORT is on the deliciously evil Olive Juice poses. IsabellaGrace Baroque has always been a lover the camp. You can tell by her inspired pose sets: True Blood, Vaudeville, and Monsters! She’s got CAMP covered. And now she’s done it again for HOT FOR ZOMBIE my bloody valentine EVENT-O-RAMA. She has three fantastic poses that are made from brains, blood, vomit and maybe even a little love. DEEEEEE LISH!

G Sloane Couture SPECIAL REPORT

This dress is fucking GORGEOUS. Geryn Sloane, owner of G Sloane Couture, knows how to do high end gowns that look flawless. When I was asked by her Marketing Director to review her work, I was amazed at how prolific Ms Sloane is! Her shop in Cedarwood is six stories high and holds the entire spectrum of women’s fashion. However, that being said, I must say that she is simply wonderful at eveningwear.

I tried to match up many different kinds of accessories with this outfit, and honestly, they all seemed to distract from the elegance of the dress. I’m a big fan of simplicity in design. Like a mouthier, bitchier version of Jackie O – with a dash of breasts. So after an hour of playing around and discussing with NEW coffeesmoke blogger, Sylvia Olivier, I made the executive decision to only wear a big diamond ring…. OH! And breasts. My breasts are definitely an accessory! YAY!

SPECIAL REPORT: Tousled Sale

My oldest friend in Second Life, Haedon Quine, is having a HUGE store sale for her hair shop Tousled. When word got around via Pushbutton’s group messages, it dawned on me how great Haedon’s work is ALL OVER AGAIN. Second Life is so fucking fast. I mean, like, REALLY fast. The next new thing is around every corner and it’s hard to see past all new releases.

This sale is pretty over the top. For color packs of four, you pay 40 linden. For FAT PACKS you pay ONLY 400 linden. Each FAT PACK has 28 color versions, the tipped versions of those. To quote Cuteoverload.com “it’s redonkulas!”
